However, she doesn’t mind as she’s received numerous positive responses. “It’s not nearly as bad as it could have been, I’ll say that,” Daigle talked to The Guardian about the reaction to her recent releases. “There’s way more people cheering me on than upset, so I’ll take it.”

Lauren Daigle is not married. The secretive songstress hasn’t been linked to anyone since she broke out via American Idol.

Daigle’s song Waiting celebrates patience when it comes to romance. She follows a similar principle in real life, as, in her words, fame makes dating difficult. Daigle told The Guardian that she doesn’t do dating apps and only accepts set-ups by close friends. 

“People will shame you for it, judge you for it, make you think you’re being too picky. But being patient, that type of longing, I think is really fruitful,” Daigle stated.
