Is Will Hurd married? Everything about his long-term partner Lynlie Hurd
Republican Presidential hopeful Will Hurd termed another contest between President Biden and Donald Trump as a ‘rematch from hell’. He believes he is the best pick for the top job. Announcing his Presidential bid, Will said, “President Biden can’t solve these problems – or won’t. And if we nominate a lawless, selfish, failed politician like Donald Trump – who lost the House, the Senate, and the White House – we all know Joe Biden will win again.”
Will Hurd married his long-term partner, Lynlie Wallace, on 31st December 2022
It’s unclear when Will Hurd and Lynlie Wallace started dating. However, we are certain they go as far back as 2017, when Politico reported that Lynlie was Will’s girlfriend.
Will and Lynlie tied the knot on 31st December 2022 in their Helotes, Texas, home. The presidential hopeful announced via Instagram:
“Last night, surrounded by our family, we said ‘I do’ to each other! We are so grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way and can’t wait to see what the future holds for us as a married couple! Happy New Year! Here’s to 2023 y’all.”
The wedding happened three weeks after Will announced the upcoming nuptials. Lynlie wrote on Instagram that she almost canceled the ceremony, having failed to find the right gown. “I was so frustrated that I came close to calling the whole thing off and just eloping,” Lynlie posted in February 2023.
Thankfully, Bridal Connection provided the perfect wedding dress for Lynlie in time. “[I] couldn’t be happier with my wedding day look!” Lynlie wrote.
The couple celebrated Lynlie’s 40th birthday in late May 2023. Will Hurd wrote alongside two Instagram photos of the party: “I think spinning @lynlie 10 times before she hit her 40th anniversary piñata was a bit overboard, but she still looked like she played for the #houstonastros!! Thanks to everyone who helped celebrate my awesome wife’s birthday!!”
Lynlie works for Focused Advocacy following over 15 years of employment under former State Representative Lyle Larson
After graduating from Angelo State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government in 2005, Lynlie became the special assistant to Lyle Larson, then the Bexar County Commissioner. From July 2008 to December 2008, she served as the political director during his failed campaign for the State Representative for Texas’ 122nd district.
In January 2010, Lyle Larson became Lyle Larson’s campaign manager, earning him the seat he failed to get two years prior. Lynlie served as Larson’s Chief of Staff during his tenure as State Representative.
Lynlie is currently the legislative and regulatory counsel at Focused Advocacy, LLC. After joining the firm in 2023, Lynlie said:
“I am excited to join the team of professionals at Focused Advocacy. I share the firm’s strong commitment to advocating for local communities at the Texas Legislature and in state regulatory matters and Focused Advocacy’s diverse client roster presents unique professional opportunities that I’m eager to pursue.”
Lynlie should play a key role in Will’s Presidential campaign, which will thrust her into the national limelight. She seems ready for the challenge. “Let’s go!” Lynlie quoted Will Hurd’s Presidential bid announcement on Twitter.
Will expressed his gratitude for Lynlie’s support in his book American Reboot. “I could fill this entire book with thank-yous to you [Lynlie], and it would be enough,” Will writes. “I wouldn’t have been able to do this if you hadn’t been in my life.”
