Tori Bowie’s death at just 32 has shocked the running community. Icon Management Inc. shared the news of her death, tweeting: “We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister. Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family and friends.”

Authorities haven’t shared Tori Bowie’s cause of death

The local sheriff’s department said they found Bowie’s dead body in her Orlando, Florida, home during ‘a well-being check of a woman in her 30s who had not been seen or heard from in several days’. 

Authorities haven’t released Bowie’s cause of death. However, the sheriff’s department said they weren’t treating the death as suspicious. 

Rumors claim Tori Bowie committed suicide. The reports are based on a 1st May Facebook post by Bowie’s sister Tamarra, who wrote:

“People who pretend to be happy have some of the saddest souls and people who do not try to convince the world that they are happy have the most genuine souls, because they are content with just being them for them and nobody else.”

Condolences keep pouring in from people who supported, cheered, and competed against Tori Bowie. Jamaican Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce tweeted: “My heart breaks for the family of Tori Bowie. A great competitor and source of light. Your energy and smile will always be with me. Rest in peace.”
